112-Pound_Gap

112 Pound Gap where the bedding character of the middle portion of the Mississippian Grainger Formation is composed of alternating relatively continuous to occasionally shallowly channeled thicker beds of sand with uniform sharp bedding planes and thin beds of shale; both lithologies vary in thickness and the sands often exhibit Bouma sequences suggesting deposition from turbidite currents that were active over a mid to outer fan setting.
