022 Ross Formation deepwater sheet sands (some quite lenticular at the base of the section close to the sea) exposed at Kilcredaun Point on the northern flank of the Shannon estuary in Co Clare. Note the mud filled channel to the middle left of the scene (see Elliot, 2000).
