Introduction

This page links has a gallery of geological diagrams and photographs that were largely created by Christopher Kendal. There are also a number of spectacular photographic images taken from outer space that have been downloaded from NASA. Where diagrams and photographs have been copied from others, it is intended that these be ascribed to their authors, in particular Graham Maxwell. A really complete and clear map has been assembled by the Great Barrie Reef Marine Park Authority that locates most of the major reef bodies and can be accessed as a .pdf image by clicking on the icon to the right.
