031-Cap-Blanc-Platey-Corals

031 Cliffs at Cap Blanc in Mallorca, Spain. Note the late Miocene platey coral forms and finger corals (as moldic pores) are the dominant form in the dish-coral zone (deeper part of the Llucmajor reef core). Here overturned (tilted?) branching coral thickets (the branching corals are lie horizontal: they represent a branching and platey coral colony that fell into a groove: coral upgrowth to the left).
