035 Cliff in the vicinity of Els Bancals, Mallorca , Spain. Massive and thick columnar corals (Porites) are characteristic of the "massive-coral zone" of this part of the Llucmajor Late Miocene reef complex. Some individual colonies reach 1 m wide and 2 m high. Scale in picture (Luis Pomar, 1991).
