041-Punta-Negra-Sig

041 Late Miocene of Punta Negra North, Mallorca, Spain. Progradational bundle of sigmoids (reef core facies) passing landward (to the right) to horizontal outer-lagoon beds and overlain by outer-lagoon beds of the subsequent aggradational sigmoids. Sea cliff is 60 m high. (Pomar, 1991; Pomar, 1994; Pomar & Ward , 1994)
