044-Cala-Carril-Clionoforms

044 Late Miocene Cala Carril, Mallorca, Spain. Transition between dish-corals (deeper water) and basinward dipping (to the left) clinobeds of proximal-slope grainstone at the lower part of a sigmoid. Corals are dissolved and appear as vugs. Vertical scale is about 20 m (Pomar, 1991; Pomar, 1994; Pomar & Ward, 1994)
