089 The lagoonal facies (horizontally bedded) pass to the south (to the left) to massive reef core facies (left side of the cliff). Thin Pleistocene skeletal eolianites and reddish paleosoils under the 16th century old watchtower at Cala Pi, south east coast of Mallorca, Spain (Kendall and Pomar, 2004).
