102 The half lower part of the cliff exhibits lagoonal facies (horizontally bedded) which pass to the south (to the left) to massive reef core facies. The upper half part of the cliff corresponds to overlying lagoonal facies of younger reefs, whose reef core is situated to the left of the picture, Cala Pi, south east coast of Mallorca, Spain (Kendall and Pomar, 2004).
