
104 Pleistocene skeletal eolianites (crossbeds dipping to the right) and reddish paleosoils in upper part of cliff while below is the Miocene reef core lithofacies closer to water line (bedding dipping to the left), represent the sigmoidal boundaries. Cliff is slightly oblique to depositional strike, Els Bancals, west of Cala Pi, south east coast of Mallorca, Spain (Kendall and Pomar, 2004).
