|
| Unconformity marked by subaerial exposure and a downward shift in coastal onlap landward of the depositional-shoreline break; however, it lacks subaerial erosion associated with stream rejuvenation and a basinward shift in facies. It is interpreted to form when the rate of eustatic fall is less than the rate of basin subsidence at the depositional-shoreline break, so that no relative fall in sea level occurs at this shoreline position. | |
